Obtained summary judgment in federal products liability case involving alleged defect causing hand injury to aspiring baseball pitcher. Court granted Daubert motion excluding plaintiff’s expert and credited defense expert, fully dismissing all claims.

WWHGD received a defense verdict on behalf of a large portable plastic gasoline container manufacturer in a product liability case in which it was alleged a product defect in a gasoline container caused an explosion that killed a successful farmer in rural Iowa.

The Federal District Court in the Northern District of Georgia granted both motions and found that our client successfully demonstrated that there was insufficient evidence that any chemical in the aerosol paint was carcinogenic or otherwise caused the plaintiff’s leukemia.  Bill Buhay  of WWHGD represented the successful aerosol paint manufacturer.
