
Jose A. Herrera-Paez
Jose A. Herrera-Paez is an Associate in the Miami office of Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial.
Jose’s experience handling corporate matters involves private equity, including private placement memoranda, limited partnerships, mergers and acquisitions; and venture capital, including assistance in equity rounds, drafting investment documents, stock purchase agreements, financing documents, Simple Agreements for Future Equity (SAFE), and stock option plans. He advises clients on risk management and corporate structuring. He also counsels clients in complex commercial litigation, real estate and construction litigation, and general corporate matters such as incorporations, LLC formations, and drafting organizational/incorporation documents.
Prior to joining WWHGD, Jose worked in-house for a real estate and hospitality development company, focusing on real estate development and construction, including overseeing development agreements, hotel franchise agreements, commercial leases, and other transactional matters. A native Spanish speaker, Jose studied law in Spain and Venezuela and practiced law in Venezuela prior to joining the firm.
