WWHGD Expands in Atlanta and Las Vegas

Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial expands its legal services to clients by adding Ashley Whitesides Mitchell as of counsel in its Atlanta office and Frank W. Mitchell as of counsel in its Las Vegas office. Ms. Mitchell concentrates her practice in FDA regulatory counseling and Mr. Mitchell has 25 years of experience representing clients in a variety of complex personal injury and commercial cases.

Ms. Mitchell’s practice focuses on providing regulatory counseling to pharmaceutical, food and medical device companies on various compliance issues, including FDA approval and clearance for products, product labeling, advertising and promotion issues, assistance with the preparation of investigational and marketing applications, and QSR/GMP counseling. Ms. Mitchell plans to assist the firm’s clients in the medical device, pharmaceutical and food industries in complying with the FDA’s regulations. She was previously the Assistant Corporate Counsel in the Regulatory Law Group at Pfizer Inc. in New York. Prior to her position with Pfizer, she worked in the FDA regulatory practice for a national law firm in their Washington, D.C. office. She received her B.S., cum laude, from Florida State University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she was executive editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.

Mr. Mitchell’s areas of specialty include commercial litigation, oil and gas litigation, medical malpractice litigation, products liability actions, contract disputes, antitrust litigation, environmental litigation and insurance disputes. Much of his work has involved complex jurisdictional and international issues including litigation for and against business entities based in Africa, Asia and Europe. He received his B.A. from the University of Utah and his J.D., cum laude, from Baylor University. Mr. Mitchell also received his M.A. from Wake Forest University.

Ms. Mitchell’s and Mr. Mitchell’s employment continues WWHGD’s expansion over the last two years. WWHGD hired four new associates in Atlanta this year, three associates in Miami and one associate in Las Vegas. Last year, WWHGD hired three lateral partners and six associates.
