Ben Weinberg Receives Charles Watkins Award

Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial LLC proudly announces that Ben Weinberg has received the Charles Watkins Award from the Atlanta Bar Association. The award recognizes lawyers who have “demonstrated distinctive and sustained service to the Atlanta Bar Association.” It is the organization’s highest service award.

Mr. Weinberg is a past President of the Atlanta Bar Association having served from 1969 – 1970. He served as an active participant in the Atlanta legal community during his 54 years of practice. Mr. Weinberg also served as a member of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia for 17 years and as a member of many other legal organizations, including the esteemed American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Weinberg served on the Board of Visitors for the University of Georgia Law School and taught at Emory University Law School as an adjunct professor.

Mr. Weinberg has been a recipient of many other awards including the Professionalism Award and Leadership Award of the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Tradition of Excellence Award of the General Practice and Trial Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
