WWHGD attorney Marriah Paige recently achieved a positive outcome in a negligence case stemming from a motor vehicle accident. The plaintiff initially made a six-figure demand. While preparing the case, Paige discovered that several legal authorities cited by the plaintiff did not actually exist and appeared to have been generated by AI. The Court addressed the improper citations and encouraged the plaintiff to consider the defendant’s last offer.
