4 day wrongful death jury trial that resulted in a defense verdict.  The case arose out of a trucking accident that occurred on March 8, 2012 in Burke County, Georgia.  The accident involved a collision between a Kylan Transport, LLC tractor trailer and Zyion Green, a three year old female.  The driver of the tractor trailer, Gerald Fordham, was traveling northbound on Georgia Highway 56 when two children ran across the street towards his tractor trailer.  One of the two children, Miss Green, ran into the left rear side of the trailer.  The trailer knocked her down to the roadway and the left rear tires ran across her before Mr. Fordham could stop the tractor trailer.  Miss Green suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
