While under the influence of marijuana and while driving without a driver’s license, Defendant crashed his vehicle into the side of Plaintiff’s vehicle causing her previously asymptomatic spondylolisthesis to become symptomatic which necessitated aggressive treatment, including a two-level fusion to her lumbar spine.  After a long and hard fought five week jury trial in the Eighth Judicial District of Nevada, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Plaintiff for $2,824,846.01, which included $2,000,000.00 of punitive damages against the Defendant.
