Overview

Michael Peterzell is an associate in the firm's Atlanta office whose practice focuses on risk management, insurance coverage, and complex litigation. He serves as coverage counsel for national and international insurance clients across the country, handling a broad range of matters, and also represents clients in insurance coverage litigation.

Michael has experience representing clients in state and federal courts and is an experienced motions practitioner, having obtained multiple grants of summary judgment and dismissals on behalf of his clients as both defense and coverage counsel. His litigation experience also includes defending clients in transportation, product liability, and aviation matters. In addition to his litigation practice, Michael handles business transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and deal capitalization. 

Michael's practice is focused on providing clients with strategic counsel tailored to their legal and business needs, whether navigating complex insurance coverage issues, managing litigation risk, or addressing transactional matters. 

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University in 2020. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History from the University of Georgia in 2013.
