Melinda K. Arakelov

Melinda is a dedicated civil defense attorney with a range of experience that allows her to navigate complex legal disputes with precision and advocate effectively for both businesses and individuals facing substantial claims.

Before joining the firm, Melinda earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Law and Public Policy, along with a Pre-Law minor, from the University of Arizona. She also completed academic coursework at a university in Moscow, Russia, adding an international dimension to her education. She went on to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, earning her Juris Doctor. During law school, she was recognized for her academic achievement as a Pedrick Scholar and an O’Connor Merit Scholar. She also served as an Associate Editor and Line Editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, and held a leadership position as the Merchandise Chair for the journal’s Outreach Committee.
