Jeremy Alberts began his career at the Supreme Court of Nevada where he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Michael Douglas. Immediately following his service at the Supreme Court, Jeremy joined the complex litigation group in the Las Vegas office of Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial.

Since joining the firm, Jeremy has been directly involved in the litigation of numerous complex cases. His clients represent a broad range of corporate entities that entrust him with high-exposure cases involving transportation, labor and employment, premises liability, government contracting, professional liability, nursing home and long-term care and the like. His active and diverse trial practice focuses on complex employment claims, high-profile catastrophic injury claims, and general liability litigation. Additionally, Jeremy maintains a robust appellate practice that has resulted in published opinions, one of which required briefing before the United States Supreme Court. See Dynamic Transit Co. v. Trans Pacific Ventures, Inc., 128 Nev. Adv. Op. 69, 291 P.3d 114 (2012). He has also been a contributing editor for the State Bar of Nevada’s Appellate Practice Manual.

Representative Experience

Obtained favorable resolution of contentious lease dispute between a world-renowned nightclub and a Las Vegas casino. 

Obtained favorable resolution of personal injury claim arising from traumatic bus versus pedestrian incident on Las Vegas Boulevard.  

Represented international transportation company during the solicitation of the largest government public transportation contract in the United States and successfully overturned the government's initial award of the contract to a competing bidder. 

Successfully defeated legal malpractice claims arising out of a complex commercial real estate transaction through summary judgment. 

Obtained favorable outcome for a commercial client, in a written opinion published by the Nevada Supreme Court, arising out of a motor carrier's unlawful conversion of a high-value sports car.
