Partners Steven Gonzalez and Steve Rapp Named 2017 On The Rise by ALM

ATLANTA (April 5, 2017) --- Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is pleased to announce partners Steven Gonzalez and Steve Rapp were selected to the 2017 “On the Rise” list by ALM publications, Daily Business Review and Daily Report.  Other recipients of this award include members of the DA’s office, attorneys for non-profit organizations and partners in AmLaw 100 firms.

Steve Gonzalez focuses his practice on commercial and construction litigation.  In addition to representing clients at trial on multi-million dollar matters, he has also successfully mediated very complex cases to quick and favorable resolution. His practice also includes the transactional side of construction wherein he has represented developers and contractors in contract negotiation, drafting and subsequent advice during project administration. Steve takes pride in balancing a demanding professional career with his desire to give back to the community with involvement in charitable organizations as the co-chair on the Jr. Orange Bowl International Golf Tournament Committee.  Steve received his B.A. from the University of Miami before going on to graduate cum laude from the New England School of Law.  While attending law school, Steve was the Editor-in-Chief of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.

Steve Rapp focuses his practice on complex construction litigation and insurance coverage.  Steve brings a unique approach, strong leadership and inspiring enthusiasm to every legal and business challenge.  Additionally, Steve frequently speaks at various continuing education seminars and is co-authoring a comprehensive book on Georgia insurance law that will be published by LexisNexis.   He is passionate about community involvement as the co-chair for the Fulton County High School Mock Trial Competition and the Atlanta Metro District Mock Trial Competition.  He received his B.A. from the University of Georgia and J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, graduating cum laude.
