WWHGD Announces Mid-Year Promotions

ATLANTA (June 14, 2017) --- Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is proud to announce the promotions of 6 attorneys.  Jad Dial and Gary Toman were promoted to partner and Cindy Bonilla, George Green and Joseph Minock were promoted to member.

Jad Dial’s practice focuses on premises liability, transportation and legal malpractice.  He has successfully represented national trucking companies and national property owners in high-profile cases.  Jad graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia where he was Phi Beta Kappa and a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.  He received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers.  

Gary Toman’s continues to help grow the firm’s appellate practice with his extensive knowledge and vast experience.   Representing corporations, banks and professionals in complex litigation matters, business disputes, consumer class actions and catastrophic injury cases, Gary consistently achieves excellent results on behalf of clients.  Gary is consistently ranked in Super Lawyers Magazine. He graduated cum laude from both Harvard College with an A.B. degree and Harvard Law School with a J.D. degree.

Cindy Bonilla has more than a decade of litigation and trial experience.  She uses her deep knowledge in the construction litigation, product liability defense and commercial litigation fields to advocate successfully for clients which include Fortune 500 companies, project owners and developers and product designers and manufacturers.  The Hispanic National Bar Association selected Cindy to receive the prestigious “HNBA Top Lawyers Under 40 Award”, awarded to only 20 attorneys across the country each year.   She is a Past President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and is extremely active in the Hispanic and local community.  Cindy received her B.A. magna cum laude from Rollins College prior to attending the University of Miami Law School where she graduated magna cum laude.

George Green’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction litigation, pipeline litigation, premises liability, and product liability.  He has represented clients across the United States in cases involving multiple plaintiffs and defendants.  George recently assisted in the successful representation of one of the country’s premier design firms in a case arising out of the design and construction of an underground stormwater detention vault. He received is B.B.A. from the University of Georgia before graduating cum laude from the University of Tennessee. Throughout his law school career, George was the Executive Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and the Assistant Acquisitions Editor of the Transactions: Tennessee Journal of Business Law.  

Joseph Minock’s practice centers on civil litigation with an emphasis in construction litigation and class action litigation.  He has represented owners, sureties, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors in numerous complex design and construction cases.  He is also experienced in Foodborne Illness cases and is currently serving as lead counsel for a national restaurant franchise in connection with a multi-state Hepatitis A outbreak.  Joseph received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law.  He received the Dean’s Award for legal writing, research and advocacy program, and served as Executive Managing Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
