Matt Gomes Named Georgia Legal Elite

ATLANTA (December 1, 2016) --- 2016 Litigation Department of the Year Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial is proud to announce Partner Matt Gomes' selection to Georgia Trend’s 2016 Legal Elite.  Matt was selected for Labor & Employment law.

Matt is a key Partner in the Labor & Employment practice group for WWHGD.   An experienced trial lawyer, Matt also works with employers to avoid labor and employment issues by providing counseling and training in discipline, discharge, employee handbooks, and affirmative action plans. Matt has represented companies in union contract negotiations and before the National Labor Relations Board.  He was recognized by Georgia Trends Legal Elite in 2012 and 2013 as well.  Matt graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill prior to attending Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude.

Georgia Trend’s December 2016 issue is its fourteenth annual listing of top attorneys in the state of Georgia.  The attorneys are nominated by their peers who are members of the Georgia Bar and live and practice within the state.
