WWHGD and David Dial Again Top Chambers USA’s Best Construction Litigation List

WWHGD Partner David Dial was named for the second consecutive year by Chambers USA as a top construction litigation attorney in the United States. Chambers USA: Guide to America’s Leading Business Lawyers ranked him in its 2007 edition. As result of interviews with clients and attorneys, those honored are assessed on such qualities as professional conduct, ethical standards, technical legal ability, diligence and other aspects of client service.

The law firm also received acclaim in the same edition, having been ranked as a top construction litigation practice. Below is an excerpt from the guide:

The Firm: Though not historically a construction firm, the team has proven its ability in this area thanks to its "attentive, tenacious and broad-based" service and its knack of providing clients with "exactly what we need." Litigation is the core strength of the group, and includes a niche in catastrophic construction claims. The team is well known for its work relating to the Venetian hotel/casino project, and sources applauded the group's proficiency in large-scale construction schemes.

The Lawyer: Interviewees declared David Dial "one of the best in the industry." He is not only "a persuasive advocate, but has cultivated relationships with the best expert witnesses and arbitrators." He is noted for his strengths in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
