Georgia Court Grants Summary Judgment in Premises Liability Case.

Attorneys David Matthews and Hilliard Burton secured a summary judgment in a premises liability case involving significant injury claims at the insured’s business. The Plaintiff, originally represented by counsel, claimed these injuries, however, after the deposition revealed credibility concerns and a lack of evidence supporting the alleged damages, the Plaintiff’s counsel withdrew. Further discovery uncovered favorable admissions, which supported an early motion for summary judgment on all claims against the insured.
