Arbitration Panel Grants WWHGD’s Motion for Summary Judgment dismissing design-builder’s claims against client in excess of $60 million.
Design-builder brought over $60 million in claims against WWHGD client and other members of the design team. After more than 3 years of litigation, the South Carolina arbitration panel granted summary judgment to firm's client on all claims except one of minor value. The claimant later voluntarily dismissed the remaining claim. The firm successfully defeated multiple motions to reconsider and multiple motions to vacate the arbitration award.
