The jury returned a verdict asserting no negligence on the part of the defense in a recent $6.5 million + wrongful death case. The decedent, a motorcyclist, was traveling approximately 90 mph when he hit the front end of an 8,550 pound Ford F-250, with enough force to move the truck two feet sideways. The accident was captured by surveillance video across the street from where the accident occurred. Judge Goodman presided.
The District Court of Appeal of the State of Florida, Fourth District affirmed the decision.
