Shivam Kumar

Shivam Kumar is an associate attorney in Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial's Atlanta office.

Utilizing his deep knowledge of case law, Shivam advises his clients according to the scenarios and facts at hand. He leverages his extensive litigation experience – including taking numerous depositions, preparing case-specific discovery, and drafting dispositive motions – to navigate each case towards the best resolution for the firm’s clients. Shivam prides himself on maintaining high-quality work product while managing the fast-paced nature of his practice.

Shivam received his B.A. in History from Emory University prior to completing his formal legal education at Vanderbilt University Law School. Upon graduating from law school, he initially worked at a firm specializing in constitutional law, where he gained high-level legal writing experience by writing numerous amicus curiae briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Since then, Shivam has focused his practice on defending insurance companies and employers in various defense-related matters.

Shivam is fluent in Hindi. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the Atlanta food scene and traversing the beautiful trails across the state.
