Benjamin D. Van Horn

Associate

Ben's litigation and trial experience has been both geographically and substantially diverse. In addition to clerking for two federal district judges in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, he has handled cases at all stages of litigation, from early motion practice through trial and appeal. In private practice, his main focuses are contract and other business disputes. He also has experience in civil RICO, regulatory, patent, trademark, trade dress, and trade secret misappropriation cases. Ben also previously worked in city government, assisting in the defense of constitutional and employment claims. 

Ben graduated from Cornell Law School, where he was a Notes Editor for the International Law Journal, Bench Editor with the Moot Court Board, and Judicial Codes Counselor. During law school, he was also a member of national and international external moot court teams.
