Shara G. Haden


Shara G. Haden's practice focuses on defending businesses and individuals in trial and appellate litigation. She brings to her practice a unique perspective built on a diverse background of private practice, non-profits and government that help her advise and advocate for her clients.

Shara's prior experience includes a clerkship for the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, she practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on election law and constitutional law. Shara's experience also includes public policy for a major law firm in Washington, D.C. where she was a division director. Shara is experienced in both domestic and foreign policy, and previously joined the U.S. Department of State in Global Affairs where her portfolio included democracy and human rights, environmental issues, refugees and migration, women’s issues, and trafficking in persons.
