Marisa Rodriguez Inducted as Latino Bar Association President-Elect for 2018
LAS VEGAS (March 16, 2018) --- Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is proud to announce that Las Vegas attorney Marisa Rodriguez was inducted as the Latino Bar Association (“LBA”) President-Elect for 2018 (President for 2019).
The LBA’s purposes are manifold: to advance the standing of Hispanics in the legal profession, to serve the public interest, to promote reform in the law, to facilitate the administration of justice, to preserve the high standards of professionalism among Hispanic attorneys, and to cooperate with other professional and community organizations in furthering these purposes.
Marisa is an associate in Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial's nationally-recognized Litigation group. She represents corporations, including Fortune 500 companies and some of the largest insurance companies in the world. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and high-exposure tort litigation, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death actions. She is the Deputy Regional XIV President of the Hispanic National Bar Association and is listed in Super Lawyers Magazine and Nevada Business Magazine for her work in personal injury defense. Prior to joining WWHGD, Marisa served as a judicial law clerk for the late Honorable Susan Scann of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County. She received both her B.S. and J.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
