Scott Lachman is an associate in the firm's nationally-recognized Litigation Practice group and was the State Bar of Nevada's Young Lawyer of the Year in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Scott served as judicial law clerk for Chief Justice Michael A. Cherry of the Supreme Court of Nevada.
During his three-year clerkship in the nation’s busiest appellate court, Scott disposed of hundreds of appeals and drafted some of Nevada’s leading opinions. Drafting appellate briefs in both the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Nevada, Scott has imported his appellate experience to Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial.
Scott serves as Chairman of the State Bar of Nevada’s Disaster Legal Services Program, which provides pro bono legal aid to survivors of natural disasters throughout the State of Nevada. Scott is also a member of the Executive Council of the State Bar of Nevada's Young Lawyers Section and the Howard D. McKibben Chapter of the Americans Inns of Court.
While at Michigan State, Scott served as vice president of the student body, President of the Jewish Student Union, and as Executive Director of the Association of Big Ten Students.

Obtained federal seizure order preventing infringement of patented goods as counsel for prominent beauty products manufacturer in an intellectual property dispute involving counterfeit products.
