WWHGD Expands Atlanta Office with Aviation Attorneys

Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial expands its Atlanta office with Thomas J. Strueber and Jonathan R. Friedman joining as partners and McLendon W. Garrett as an associate. The new attorneys have significant expertise in Aerospace and Aviation Litigation. The addition of an Aviation Defense practice to WWHGD brings a new niche to the firm’s nationally renowned trial law experience.

Thomas Strueber has more than 25 years of experience and has been recognized as a leading aviation attorney by various legal publications. Mr. Strueber concentrates his practice in the areas of aviation litigation, complex tort and commercial and insurance litigation. He is a graduate of the Institute of Aviation at the University of Illinois, where he earned an FAA Airframe and Powerplant mechanic’s license, and holds a commercial pilot’s license. He has previously served as director of the Aviation Insurance Association and as vice-chairman of the Aviation Litigation Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He now heads the Aviation Defense practice group at WWHGD.

Jonathan Friedman is an experienced trial attorney and has argued and tried cases in state, federal and appellate courts throughout the U.S. He works in the areas of aviation litigation, product liability and complex torts. His clients include manufacturers, distributors and other businesses in the automotive, aviation, consumer products, industrial and transportation industries. Mr. Friedman received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
