Carol Michel Invited to Join International Aviation Womens Association
The International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) welcomed Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial partner Carol Michel as a member. The IAWA is an international organization for women who hold executive positions in companies throughout the spectrum of the aviation and aerospace industry. The group promotes the advancement of women leaders through conferences, events, affiliations and scholarships.
Ms. Michel focuses her practice on the representation of clients nationally in catastrophic and high-stakes personal injury litigation. Recently, she presented at the 2nd Annual International Cabin Safety Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her topic, “The Dilemma of the Disruptive Passenger,” discussed claims brought against commercial airlines from unruly or disruptive passengers. Ms. Michel was also recently appointed to the Faculty of the 2013 IADC Trial Academy, one of the oldest and most well-respected programs for developing defense trial advocacy skills.
