Has tried dozens of cases to verdict, many involving complex medical issues and multi-million dollar claims. Has litigated extensively throughout the State of Florida.
Representative Cases/Experience
- Obtained a defense verdict in wrongful death case brought by the estate of a heavy equipment operator who was crushed to death when the paving machine he was operating rolled down an embankment. The decedent left a wife and seven children. Plaintiff's last demand during trial was $17 million.
- Has served as trial counsel for the largest medical insurers in the State of Florida.
- Obtained defense verdict in medical malpractice trial where plaintiff claimed neonatologist did not properly treat micro-seizures in newborn, allegedly resulting in brain damage; economic damage claim exceeded $11 million.
- Obtained defense verdict in medical malpractice trial against cardiologist, where plaintiff claimed negligence resulted in death of 52-year-old husband and father; plaintiff claimed damages in excess of $4 million.
- Secured dismissal of defendant doctor from suit alleging malpractice and
product liability as result of death due to latex exposure.
