Practice focuses on civil litigation with emphasis on construction litigation and automobile dealership liability. Has represented engineers, prime contractors, subcontractors and sureties, and assisted with cases in South Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee.
Representative Cases/Experience
- Currently assisting in defense of one of the world’s largest engineering and design firms in arbitration brought by design build contractor concerning construction of largest state-funded land improvement in State of South Carolina.
- Obtained favorable settlement for major provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services in case involving injuries allegedly sustained in automobile accident.
- Represents leading mechanical contractor in eastern United States in construction defect disputes in southeast.
- Assisted in successful defense of mining companies in suit alleging more than $100 million in damages to thousands of claimants.
