Representative Cases/Experience
- Assisted in legal research and briefing before the Supreme Court of Georgia; successfully convinced it to reverse a Court of Appeals decision and hold that summary judgment was proper in favor of a utility company in connection with a wrongful death claim.
- Conducted oral argument and assisted in legal research and briefing before the Georgia Court of Appeals, successfully attaining judgment in favor of a residential contractor in a case involving brain injuries allegedly caused by acts of a subcontractor.
- Assisted in legal research, preparing briefs and securing dismissal on behalf of a foreign corporation on grounds the court lacked personal jurisdiction in a product liability case involving catastrophic injury.
- Assisted in research and brief writing leading to successful award of summary judgment and contribution for a medical client.
