Practice focuses on civil litigation with emphasis on product liability, foodborne illness, and environmental and toxic tort liability. Also experienced in matters of regulatory compliance. Currently assisting with cases involving serious injury and wrongful death throughout the United States.
Representative Cases/Experience
- Assisted in successful resolution of punitive damages and personal injury claims against food processor client during bifurcated trial in Federal Court in Utah in 2011.
- Assisted in defense of Chinese drywall suppliers that were major targets of thousands of claimants in cases pending in Florida state courts as well as federal multi-district litigation.
- Assisted in defense of various producers and manufacturers involved in the 2009 Nestlé Toll House cookie dough E. coli O157:H7 outbreak.
- Assisted in defense of California spinach processor in national E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in August 2006.
- Assisted in defense of Midwest beef processor in national E. coli outbreak in the Summer of 2008 with over 80 confirmed cases linked to the outbreak.
